Tom Marioni’s “The Act of Drinking Beer with Friends is the Highest Form of Art” (1970)

A friend recently shared this video from the Hammer Museum and their “Lunchtime Art Talks” collection (thanks, Sergio!) As one of the artists I’ve drawn inspiration from, it was nice to see an amalgamation of two, very large parts of my life. In addition for my non-artist friends, it  also acts as a brief  introduction into the ideas and concepts I’ve been working with and try to approach in my current work.
